Can I do ping-pong stereo echo in Mainstage?

Hi,

I'm thinking of moving to Mainstage for my live set-up but I can't find out how well it handles stereo effects. My current set-up includes auto panning (moving back & forth in the stereo field) and long delay echo running in ping-pong mode - echoes are returned on the opposite side of the stereo field. Can I do this with Mainstage? I'm looking at the Apogee GiO as my interface.

Another question - is it possible to insert a volume pedal halfway along the signal chain? I usually have it after the distortion / modulation / filter units but before the echo.

Finally, is there a harmoniser available for Mainstage?

Thanks for any help,

Rev. Andy

Yes, you can do all of that with MainStage. The included plug-ins will do ping-pong echo and customizable delays (use Stereo Delay or Delay Designer), and the Stompbox collection will allow you to put a volume pedal where you want it in your signal chain. The harmonizers are not so hot though. Waves GTR has a pretty good one, but Amplitube is the best collection for guitar effects and guitar sound design, though quite spendy!
