What is compatible to adobe flash player?

I want to listen to live radio but it says I need Adobe Flash player which is not supported by iPad(this device). Is there an iPad Apple app that can substitute or be used in place of Adobe Flash Player? What else do I need to listen to live radio on this IPad?

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

First, check and see if the site has an app available, if so, use that.

Second, check to see if the station is covered by the iHeartRadio app. They cover about 1000 live station feeds.

If not, you can TRY iSwifter, Skyfire, Photon, or Rover -- those browsers attempt to recognize Flash content and then work out a way to play it (basically, they are browsers built on Adobe Flash then compiled into a native iOS app - nearly all Flash content SHOULD be accessible).

Adobe dropped support for Flash on mobile a year ago. iOS never had Flash support, and it was available for a time on Android and is now gone again.

Since Flash isn't technically necessary for live radio apps, presumably sites that use them it that way will switch over to HTML5 or services like iHeartRadio.

There are many apps to do this.

Iheartradio and TuneIn are two apps with many, many stations available.

If you don't find a native radio player to play it (as is explained above), you will want to take a look at the following Web browsers:

iSwifter, Puffin or Photon

Note that:

- Skyfire is no longer recommended - it just refuses to work with the majority of Web sites where the other three, above-recommended browsers do work

- in several tests (see the benchmarks / tests at the bottom of http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/how-you-will-want-watch-flash-only-videos-and- use-dynamic-flash-content ) Photon has turned out to be a little bit slower than the other two browsers

- iSwifter is free with iAP and is, therefore, great for testing. Therefore, I recommend it as the first browser to test. It also has an education-only version, Rover ( http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rover-browser-for-education/id483262612?mt=8 ), which may not work with your stream at all.
