Using Safari 5.1.7 OSX 10.7.4
Suddenly I cannot watch anything on BBC iPlayer - I get the message "This content doesn't seem to be working, Try again later." Again and again and again.
I switch to Firefox and iPlayer works fine.
Any ideas why it's not working with Safari?
Even the BBC radio isn't working properly.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Check Safari > Preferences > Extensions.
If you have any installed, turn that OFF, quit then relaunch Safari to test.
And empty the Safari cahe more often. From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Empty Cache or Option + Command + E on your keyboard.

I have had my fair share of problems with BBC iPlayer and following a recent contact I received this from the BBC Tecnical Dept. But I switched to Firefox instead. All the same it might help you.
Check your connection speed via the BBC diagnostic tool.

Clear your browser cache.

It is definitely not anything to do with the things mentioned in the 2 posts above:
extensions
cache
incompatible browser or system
and if the problem was connection speed then Firefox would not work either.
So anyone have any more ideas?
At the moment I'm having to clear Cache History every time I want to watch. even if I refresh the page it freezes and only when I clear it it starts again.
