When is mountain lion coming to the app store.

Apple will not release the time and date simple because it sparks discussions like this and keeps the media guessing. Therefore populating the worlds media with free publicity!!!

However, let's say they release it at 10am on the 25th July, this is going to be 5pm in the UK and 4am on the 26th July for New Zealand. Unless Apple decides to stagger the release times for individual countries but because America is at the backend of the 24hr timezone, I seriously doubt they will release it at the same time for all countries. Effectively meaning America would see it 18 hours after the release time.

Although I really want to see the new version in action, I would rather Apple took their time and released a great working product rather than a rushed version. If they said July, we know that Apple has to release it by 5:59am on 31st of July to make sure they release it in July for Eastern countries such as New Zealand.

My guess is Wednesday 25th July 10am localtime!

In the past it has been 9am, but it'll likely be 10am california time so check your region for matching times.

Because my birthday is only a 8:00pm CET today, Apple agreed to release it at this hour. Thank you Apple 😀
