Could not load Energy Saver preference pane.

When I re-installed Lion on my Mac, I have "Could not load Energy Saver preference pane" error message when I'm trying to open Energy Preferences from System Preferences. I have the same problem with Desktop & Screen Saver as well as Spotlight. I've updated the OS to yhe latest version and installed the latest combo pack.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I am still on good old stable snow horse 10.6.8 and have the smae problem: cannot get to energy saver pane.

Unfortunately tje 32 bit solution does not work for me and neither do all the other suggestions... Any ideas?

I have the same problem, the 32 bit doesn't work for me either. Thanks in advance for any other idea.
