You can buy new Logic Boards online but they can be quite expensive. Also, I don't think Apple would touch a Logic Board with signs of water damage unfortunately, they'd rather you buy a new MacBook. You could try a Certified Reseller or repair shop, but again, it could be quite expensive.

Another option could be to buy a broken, not water damaged board from eBay and replace the capacitors?

This one has video problems, so it could be a case of replacing something from each board. Be careful though, it could still be water damage.

A Logic Board usually goes for around $300 on eBay, or maybe by a not working MacBook of the same model and replace the Logic Board.

Hope this gives you some useful info 🙂

I think the keyboard actually prevented the wine from reaching the logicboard, but the keyboard itself got damaged and is now shorted. I assume you only tried shorting the pads AFTER removing the thermal paste, if so, this is likely to have affected all the tests you performed since that moment. Try re-applying some thermal paste and put the heatsink back on (there's plenty of videos regarding this topic on youtube). Now, with everything back in place, BUT THE KEYBOARD STILL DISCONNECTED!!!, try shorting the pads, the Mac should now start up. Connect an external usb keyboard and test for other possible problems, if everything works you only need a new topcase :)
