Lost IP address on MacBook Pro.

This morning, my mbp will not connect via Wi-Fi, although I can connect my iPad, iMac without any problem. As my Wi-Fi SEEMS to be, could this be a problem with the mbp? Sys Pref>network shows no IP address, however on the iMac the same place shows: "status -connected, and gives an IP address of 10.0.1.4."

Is this the same address I need on the mbp, and if so, how do I get it there?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Each Private IP address should be unique and assigned to your MBP via your wireless router.

One quick troubleshooting step is to simply turn off, and then, back on your MBP's internal AirPort card. To do so, just Option-click on the AirPort icon in the OS X menu bar. Then select "Turn Wi-Fi Off," and then, "Turn Wi-Fi On."

Got it fixed. It was the modem-needed to be reset. I don't know why the other units worked, however.
