Is ITunes store down?

Not for me. I was just in iTunes and it's working fine. Do you have an internet connection?

Ditto. I can get into the store fine from iTunes, but can not update iPad apps from the App Store. Message - unable to access iTunes Store.

same i can open the store and everything fine... but when i make a purchase or update an app is says cannot connect to store and it says retry or close and i even reset my password but that didnt fix it...

Me Neighter I can only search apps but when I try to get on it it says cannot connect I'm using iPod touch 4th generation

I fixed it myself... go into the options.. then scroll down to store.. sign out of the Apple ID. then sign back in. i tried updating it and it worked.. i also downloaded a free app just to be sure and it worked.. try this and if problem still presists then file a support e-mail

and when i say updating it i mean updating apps.. not the software... that could be another problem but not certain

try the logging out then back in... if that doesnt work then idk 😕

I can't access the store with my iPod Touch 4th Gen. Wifi is working and I can access the internet using other apps, but when I go to update a couple of apps from my iPod, I get the same error message after I try to sign in to the store.

Hopefully apple fixes this by tomorrow. If its not fixed ima try calling them

I'm in the UK and I can't open the Store from either iphone or macbook.

I am having the same problem...I have a network connection and it works from my PC but it isnt accessible through a wireless connection from my iphone or ipods. I tried the update and sign out-sign in and unfortunately it didn't work. It has to be the app with the issues...and hopefully they fix this soon.

Same problem here too. I can't update or download any app via my New iPad BUT I can do it smoothly with my iPod 4.

What's da problem with iPad?
