Is ITunes store down?

Now my problem just has been solved! I sign out from apple ID in my ipad and sign in again and found out that there is something pendings from my last app purchased. After clear this pending, I can successfully update apps :)

Logging out and logging back in seems to work. Still getting the "cannot connect to Apple Store" message, but as soon as I hit cancel the app updates. Something still needs to be fixed by Apple. Problem is only with iPad.

Logging out and back into the App Store seems to have done the trick. I can now download apps.

You know I don't mind if Apple has glitches from time to time because compared to the old Android phones my family had owned the problems were constant. This is the first problem I have experienced with the iPhone so that's great. MR PROBLEM IS when I call Apple Care they keep me on the phone for 30 minutes trying to troubleshoot the problem saying that they haven't heard of this problem. Come on Apple you're better than that. Tons of people all over the world are having problems with the Apple Store and Apple doesn't know about it? Give me a break. Can't you just tell your customers

"We have had reports and our team is diligently working to resolve the issue. We are sorry for any problems this has caused."

Come on Apple don't play dumb.

I'm in the USA and I've found the iTunes Store from my Mac, iPhone, and iPad to be down. In trying to purchase an entire TV season of 'Fringe', I keep getting the same error message others are getting: "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

I've tried several times through the day and still no luck. For some odd reason, it IS downloading iOS app updates, but it won't allow any new purchases.
