Going to Japan - do they use the same power outage as we do in the states?

iPad is universal in that it will charge from 100v to 240v. So, the only thing you need to have is a plug adaptor which will let you plug your US based plug into a Japanese plug. You do NOT need a voltage converter and plug adaptors are available at places like Comp USA......
