Hi,
I managed to get my up to date code via the email in a password protected PDF.
I promptly opened the file and tried to use the code on the app store immediately, but it is telling be that the code has been used already!!
Has anyone else seen this issue at all, could it just be related to the volume of of requests at the moment?

Hey dont spend your cash just yet, we got new macbooks, they promised to give us mountain lion os upgrades they'll have to fullfill their promise.

Via the Apple UK website I had a techie give me a call (It was immediate). The guy explained that Apple gave out consumer Mountain Lion codes early to some people (I'm guessing journalists). These codes were then sent out today to consumers- us lot.
Apple are aware of the problem and they will send out new emails with new codes to affected people. I have been told that they might come today or early tomorrow. So that could be anything from 0-16 hours!
There are different stories going around. Some are saying we'll get new codes, while others are saying the old codes will be fixed to work.
I had the same problem: after receiving the code I tried to use it but the Mac App Store didn't load the OS X Mountain Lion page. So I restarted the App Store and it told me the code was already used. 😕
But this problem isn't just mine as I can see... 😟
Same problem here. Heart nearly skipped a beat but knowing others experienced it as well, it could very well be Apple's issues.😐

I'm from Sabah, Malaysia..I was so excited to update my OS since I bought mine three days ago (new Mac/Apple product user) until the redeem code was said to be used..pffft I thought my code was stolen phewww..hopefully they'll resolve this ASAP or I'll turn into a Hulk

What a terrible system. We sign in with our Apple ID to our computer after we received our NEW eligible 'uptodate' system. I should be able to sign in to the App Store after Mountain Lion is released, and I should be able to click download. No codes. No redeem hoops. Come on.
