Mountain Lion redemption code has already been used

Just gone through the process to get a redemption code for Mountain Lion. Successfully received the PDF that contained the code, tried to redeem it in the Mac App store and got an error saying:


"This code has already been used. Each code may only be used once."


Oh dear. Are they sending out duplicates? What should I do now?

I sent an email as well. And this was their reply. Is this what I get for being an early adopter and buying an Apple product? :\

Really? I have filled out the form, never got a confirmation email which is the standard procedure on the internet since the beginning of it.


Next I had to find the contact email address on this forum, so I've sent out my request again with proof of purchase. I called support explained it again, was being told my request was approved but had to wait 72 hours for the mail to be delivered?


C'mon 72 hours for sending an email? A tip send it through US Postal Services, DHL, UPS and I'll get in a day.


Now this W T F email? I'm a pro customer who bought the macbook pro retina and I'm waisting my time on email, phonecalls and even this forum for €15 worth of software. If I just had paid the 15 euro's it would have been cheaper.


Why on earth would I want to change my email? My email works fine if the ret@rded idiots can send me the bloody message, they sure can figure out that it can be used to send me the code right?


This is just rediculous the wealthiest tech company needs 72 hours to send out a simple code by email.
