Mountain Lion redemption code has already been used

Just gone through the process to get a redemption code for Mountain Lion. Successfully received the PDF that contained the code, tried to redeem it in the Mac App store and got an error saying:

"This code has already been used. Each code may only be used once."

Oh dear. Are they sending out duplicates? What should I do now?

72 hours limit passed and still nothing. Maybe it's 72 days.

I always get the same standard reply, they don't even bother to read the mails, it's a waste of time and if they do read them they treat everyone like an idiot.

I just downloaded the full copy from the internet (if you look in the right places, you can find it) and installed it last night.

They can shove the redemption code wherever they like it, I'm done with Apple.

I am starting to see why Apple is droppping the ball in South East Asia. Three days and waiting for a code. No working phone number, no answers on your emails. In the meantime they have increased the Apple Care price with 50% while they do not do any telephone support after 17.00 hrs in most countries and never even acknowledge receipt of emails.

It is not about the money, it is about the disregard of their customers. They can shuffle my code also up to where they like it.

I guess they are think "if this idiots trust us, then they are stupid SOOO much that they need to know how to enter letters to the field".

I also downloaded it, but the remains of conscience are still prohibiting installation. I'll wait for answer with solution until next morning (for me).

Are you sure that 10.8.x updates will be installed without problems? What if they are will decide to install updates for apple id only which purchased OS? It's non-sense, butnow i'm have nothing to sure.

From my point of view I don't feel guilty about it since I actually paid for it when I bought the MacBook Pro Retina. So my conscious is clear. I wouldn't install the software if I wasn't entitled to it, for 16 euro it's not worth it. My 72 hours have passed and not a single code has been sent to me.

If they decide to block updates and don't want to issue the code to me I'll just install Linux or Windows on it. And you can bet that if this is the case it will be my last Apple purchase ever.

I'm a professional user, I write software for a living, I can't afford to waste more time on it. This 16 euro value of software has cost me at least €100 in time, phonecalls, extra €100 I paid for being an early adopter (price has dropped since). I could have easily bought it to avoid all this mess, but out of principle I refuse to do so.
