Mountain Lion code already used ?

i emailed them, called them, absolutly useless. the guy answered the phone desnt know squat.

got my new code this morning and i'm download now 🙂

Same problem for me. Opened a ticket via the website and Apple told me that I'd be receiving a working code within 24-48 hours. 24 have passed, I couldn't resist and replied like this:

"Hello,

I know that only 24 hours have passed, but, seriously, it's pretty clear that it's an AppStore bug so just tell me if it's gonna be fixed soon or if I have to pay the 19,99$ and download Mountain Lion as if I wasn't eligible for the free upgrade.

Thanks."

I do hope that you are enjoying your day so far, even amongst what is going on.

Please also forgive me for any confusion that this has caused. What has happened here, is that when you had contacted us, Apple was not completely aware of some of our customers not receiving valid codes to redeem this. We are currently investigating this now and I will contact you again once we have more information.

While I do realize that I had asked you to wait up to 48 hours, you will need to now wait until we find a resolution for this. I assure you though, that we are working hard towards this and I will continue to keep you in the loop of things.

Also just got my code. Downloading as I speak.

Just to keep you guys posted about what I did:

- Called yesterday to Dutch applecare

Got a response that they din't really know whats going on. ETA of max. 72 hours.

- Today I mailed applecare

Got a response, that they also did not really know what was going on and could not give me any ETA.

- Got a new PDF mail and a password for the PDF mail, just about an hour ago.

I have the same problem here (the Netherlands)! So i mailed apple and they replyed that i would get a new code. But i haven't received one yet. And it has been longer then 24 Hours! Really frustrating!!

i called them, the guy who answered the phone knows nothing, even did not ask for my name.

then i emailed then, left my name, Apple ID, reference number. few hours later, i got this "we are experiencing a slight delay in response time...", then i went to bed, got the new code this morning. good luck every1.

I just mailed them again and added my apple id. And like 2 minuts laters i got my new code. I'm downloading Mountian Lion right now!

So guys just keep mailing. Maybe adding your apple id in the mail does the trick.
