Where did RSS go in Safari 6???

Where the heck is the RSS reader!?!?! It was the best all round RSS reader! I DEPEND on it for thousands of feeds that I have to keep track of every day!

AND WHY wasn't there somekind of warning? Or a suggestion for an alternative? Or at least a good extension/option!?

FIX THIS ASAP PLEASE! People like me DEPEND on features like these, you CANNOT just take them away without warning when you force a software update like this!

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), 10GB RAM - ATI Radeon HD 5870

hmm somethign must have happened to those last two messages. I would only say to ertsoft that let's remember that apple offical explanation for safari being removed was for security reasons. I would give them the benefit of the doubt on this one until proven otherwise. In fact, just the fact that safari supports sharing links and subscribing sorta means we're getting the whole cow here i dont see how you could share a link which you couldnt view or bookmark. i think also if the beta is public i hardly see how anyone would get in trouble for discussing the features here but anyways…

to AppleSean here is a link which shows the sharing feature in iOS, scroll about half way down:

I hate bringing up old posts but this post has had a long history of people back and forth talking about RSS in Safari. Well, I'd like to say that RSS is back in Safari via the Shared Links panel in OS X 10.10. I've been reading about it online and while it doesn't seem to be the same as it was in Safari 6 it does appear to be back. Though if you are a serious RSS user I'd still recommend some 3rd party application that handles the feeds better.

Edit: Seems people are already talking about it. Should have read the last few pages. This will probably get deleted that's fine though.

Of course 10.10 public beta is now out, and so this is no longer "speculative" as the Apple discussion board minders seemed to think when I broached this topic at WWDC. At this moment, I have only one machine, and am in the middle of a project, so I am unable to install the public beta. I wondered if someone would be so kind as to install the public beta and post a review/pictures. I'm just wondering if I need to continue complaining about RSS in Safari, or whether I can consider these changes "mission accomplished."
