Hey guys, who's game center on mountain lion isn't working either? It tells me that there is no connection to the server. I already added it to the firewall list, but it didn't change anything.

It solved it for me too, so it obviously was the issue. Why don't you think it makes sense?
Because the info that chrischie213said to reset it to is already in my hosts file on top of my other additions.
You have to REMOVE the other additions, then flush the cache. Paste them back in after Gamecenter has worked once.
I have tried these things to fix the game center problem and none of them works :
-tried to Repair Disk Permissions
-tried the Chess method (launch the chess while the Game Center starts automatically)
-tried the method with removing information form /etc/host and launching the command described above
Any other suggestions?
And by the way I don't have an iOS device to log into game center from it..
This sounds great, but I don't have permission to edit the hosts file. I know very little about the terminal, so could anyone walk me through the procedures?
