Safari 6 favicons erased upon quit

Since updating Safari 5.1.7 to Safari 6, all favicons have disappeared.

Visiting sites anew brings their relevant favicons back, but they get erased again upon quiting Safari.

Am I the only one ???

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Core i7, SSD, 12 GB Ram.

I have a daily back-up of my start-up drive. I went and took back yesterday's file called WebpageIcons.db, located in User/Library/Safari/.

Copied the file to the same location on the original drive thus replacing the corrupt one, now all the favicons are back like they were yesterday.
