Game Center for Mountain Lion not working

Still a blank green screen for me. No word from Apple on this?

Yes I followed your instructions and it worked, thanks for taking the time to type it out in this forum. Hopefully Apple will address this issue soon and learn from it. Other than this glitch I have no other major issues with Mountain Lion.

Same issue here. I tried directly, through Chess, adding the ip addresses, none worked. I ran the iPhone simulator and have it setup there, but it still does not work on my Mac.

Same problem here.

All I get is my email showing up with icons flying onto the screen, but I can't select my email, can't type my password and can't type anywhere on the screen in general. All I can do is click the game icons which opens mac app store, or click to apply for a new user ID.

This is a major Mountain Lion bug that Apple needs to fix ASAP. You have to log into Game Center on your iPhone or iPad first, and then you can finally log in successfully on your Mac. Absolutely ridiculous, but that's the stupid workaround for now that Apple is forcing us to do.

Didn't work for me.

On your Mac:

1) Open "System Preferences" -> click the "Network" icon

2) Choose your active internet connection from the list and click on "Advanced" on the right side of the window

3) Click "DNS" at the top of the window then the "+" near the bottom

4) add 8.8.8.8 to the DNS Servers section, also add 8.8.4.4 then click "Ok"

5) Click "Apply"

Now try running Game Center...this was the only solution that worked for myself...the other DNS servers people were offering were OpenDNS, these are Google's...which is possibly why the person that tethered their Android phone was able to connect.

Also confirming that this works. I tried the Xcode iPhone simulator and other tricks mentioned, and they didn't work. This one did, though.
