Safari 6 Won't Load Certain Web Pages

Safari crashed for me also this morning. I had several sites open and the circle of death came to visit.

I IPL the system and used Firefox the rest of the day with no problems. Good luck with the problems someone will fix it sooner or later.

Make sure your system clock is correct.

yes my clock is ok, the weird problem is if i teather via my iphone it works fine.

my problem is only with the mountain lion mac's , my lion mac works fine

FYI, as of 1:07 am EDT there is a new version of Rapport available and so far (fingers crossed) it is behaving.

UPDATE: The Rapport icon has vanished. No re-installs or restart of Safari will bring it back. This software is NOT ready for use with ML.

Thethering option work fine for me too, but I try all your suggestions and everything goes wrong. After clean the cache and DNS, I only can access to facebook site at once, the same issue goes to chrome. I think we need and os update right now from apple to fix all this stuff.

Final (I hope) update: newest version of Rapport (newer than the disappearing icon version) has been working properly with Safari for many hours now.

i found a workaround, change the MTU setting to 1300 for your Ethernet or Airport.

This sorted out my problem, now i can log into all websites that i could not previously log into.

I also couldn't upload a picture to Facebook, for example. Now I can.

And, I couldn't send a mail with an attachment with the iCloud server - and now I can.

Worked, ufffff. I changed MTU to 1,380 instead 1,300 a read that it`s the most packed size used in internet. 1,300 could make slower your link. Thanks.

My theory is that your router, Ethernet switch, or some other piece of networking gear has buggy support for jumbo frames. Setting the MTU to a nondefault value below 1500 probably prevents jumbo frames from ever being used even if they appear to be working.

Please do the following:

1. Try checking for firmware updates for your networking gear (routers, Wi-Fi base stations, etc.) and see if that helps.

2. If that doesn't help, please provide descriptions of your network hardware (model numbers, hardware revisions, firmware versions, etc.) so that it is possible to reproduce your configuration. Please mention whether your problem was or was not fixed by changing the MTU, as there are probably multiple issues being discussed in this thread.
