Yes it does. It works fine. But QuickTime has never been able to play WMV files without having Flip4Mac installed. You have reinstalled Flip4Mac since installing ML, haven't you?

Download QuickTime 7 from here:

and then reinstall Flip4Mac or whatever if you haven't already done so. Or use VLC.

Did you download QuickTime from the link I provided above? There are multiple versions of QuickTime running around, and not all of them will work. The Snow Leopard version (linked above) should, to the best of my knowledge, or at least several folks reported success a few months back.

Just discoverd Flip4Mac is not compatible with Mountain Lion. You won't be able to play WMV files until it is:

Do a "Get Info" on the file in Finder. Change the "Open With:" to the app of your choice. That will change it for that single file. If you want to also change the setting for every file of that type, click the "Change All..." button below it.
