Mountain Lion not syncing reminders or messages from iPhone.

I had the same issue with the Reminders app on my Mac, it was the only one that was not syncing... until i discovered that it was actuallt my fault.. lol

Here was my problem:
In my iPhone "settings" -> "mails,contatcs, calendar" i had one my eMail accounts to use "reminders" when i should not.. removed it and set ONLY my icloud account to use it, and that solve it. All my reminders now appear on my other iDevices.

Anyone have any luck with Messages? Message will sync but not 100%. Only a portion of stored messages sync and if a reply is sent to your latest message it will appear out of order.

Your advice worked perfectly... restarting reminders on the iPhone worked and they automatically appeared on the Mac version of reminders.

New problem. I am getting notifications for old task repeating task that I have previously deleted. Nothing appears inside my list but there remains a badge icon for each of these apps. Just happened yesterday. Since I can't see any task, I'm unable to rid the badge. I have not seen this issue on my Mac.

Re-setting "Calenders & Reminders" in settings (OSX) fixed the problem.

Rebooting my iPhone worked for me too. Now my reminders sync within 30 seconds. Great! Thanks!

To complement:

One scenario to add which worked for me: Go to icloud on the iphone settings and turn synch OFF and back ON. This did the trick for me, although turning off the iPhone was not enough. Also did not turn off calendar and reminder on the mac as it seemed to be a major one (ie deleting all content on the mac).

I have the same problem & unable to find satisfactory solution.

This solved the issue I was having: reminders, calendars and notes would only sync manually on iOS. Now new data is pushed. Many thanks!

Disabling and re-enabling in iCloud settings on my Mac fixed the syncing to the Mac. Thanks!
