So anyone else have this problem this morning? Yesterday I signed up to the up to day program and was given an invalid redemption code. This morning I was sent another code and when I redeemed it, it downloaded OS X Server, NOT Mountain Lion... hmmm.... annoyed....
sent email to apple... lets see what happens.

Same here. Waited for a new code, got it about 30 minutes ago, tripple-checked EVERY single letter and word before activating the code and BAM, got OS X Server. Can't even download it.
children, please take my word and use the thread that i linked above. there are far more people and its far more interesting. the social dynamic is much more exiting. they've even invented a game at guessing how many more server codes will be sent out.

Apple just sent me another email with my password to retrieve my content code. Well... They failed to send me the second email in order to allow me to retrieve my content code... I emailed them back... again... hopefully they will unF&#k themselves sometime soon.

I Received my "free" upgrade for my mac mini server only to realize (after completing the upgrade) that my Lion Server had been DOWNGRADED to a Mountain Lion workstation.
Apple support informed me that the server app was not included in the free upgrade. I feel that they should have at least informed me that I would have to purchase additional software after the "free" upgrade in order to mantain the funcutionality of my server. I had no need to upgrade, the existing software on my server provided everything I needed and worked flawlessly. Now I have the choice of reverting the server back to the old OS and hopefully getting everything working as it was, or pay the $20 ransome and get the server app for Mountain Lion.
