Mouse cursor disappears.

I tried with closing flash apps/websites, restarted iMac, updated to newest flash plugin but still using for example Photoshop, afer a few minutes cursors turns invisible.
I searched in forum for OSX Lion and there this problem was mentioned several times. Does it mean that it was NOT SOLVED?

I had serious mouse dropping problems on Lion (plus lots of other persistent problems). After I had installed it (Lion) on top of Snow Leopard, my Email accounts and my User Account survived from Snow Leopard. I transferred all my pictures, music, movies, documents by manually crossing across from my backup. I re-installed applications and utilities from original discs or downloaded .dmgs.I have never used Migration Assistent, yet I had huge problems. I did an erase and install of Mountain Lion (manually setting up etc. as described above) which meant that absolutely nothing survived from Lion, not even email and the user account. I have had only insignificnt problems from then, including momentary mouse disconnections perhaps every two days - I can live with that.

Sending 'feedback' is not the proper way to notify Apple about this issue, nor is posting on the forum (unless you expectation is just to see if you can find others with a workaround or to just find others with the problem 😉).

The proper route is to file a bug report. You can use an Apple ID to submit these

I suspect that specific apps that temporarily change the cursor (for example Word often changes the cursor to a brace, as does almost any text field in a browser), causes the cursor to disappear. Changing the cursor size seems to exacerbate this problem but isn't required to cause it.

I would encourage anyone experiencing the problem to file a bug report. If you are contacted by Apple for more infomration, make an effort to provide them with what they need. All to often someone will submit a bug but never follow through with any required info to help resolve it.

I very much regret that passed to Mountain Lion as on Lion of such problem never was. I very often work in Photoshop and with transition on 10.8 work became awful as the cursor vanishes about an every minute and it is necessary to click the Photoshop that the cursor appeared on an icon. It is so impossible to work, it is very sad that the Apple can't quickly solve this problem! I very much regret that put 10.8 at once on all computers. Now I think as to reinstall back Lion

Hi Everyone, dont want to get everyones hopes up just yet, but since I've upgraded to 10.8.2 this problem seems to have now been fixed, its still early days for me so I'll report back if my cursor disappears again, but so far I'm 2 days in and my mouse cursor is still present and I'm swiping between screens and using Mission Control etc and so far no problem, has anyone else found this ?

If the update fails to solve the problem, as appears to be the case, then when combined with the elimination of the Google maps application from iPhone, this would seem to be an excellent time to sell short Apple stock. I thought the absence of Steve Jobs might mean the deterioration of the company, but I'm surprised to see it happening so rapidly.

Mouse cursor disappears.
