Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Resolution Issue

Hi there,

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion on two of my computer via clean install. I then installed Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 (CNCRA3), a Cider wrapped version of the game, that I bought from Direct2Drive (now GameFly).

On my MacBook Air 11", Mid 2011, 1366 x 768 is no longer listed as a resolution in the game "Graphics Options". The highest resolution available is 1152 x 720.

I also installed CNCRA3 on my Mac Mini, Late 2009 and there are no problems with the resolution (it runs at 1920×1080).

Anybody else had this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks!

John

Just figured it out thanks to this page: http://www.superkevstudios.com/cc/?page_id=23

1. Open ~/Library/Preferences/Command and Conquer - Red Alert 3 Preferences/p_drive/User/Application Data/Red Alert 3/Profiles/YOURUSERNAME/Options.ini with TextWrangler or other text editor.

2. Then, change "Resolution = 1152 720" to "Resolution = 1366 768" or your desired resolution.

3. Save the file and start the app. Enjoy!
