Airplay not full screen!

When I airplay my macbook (15 inch)'s display over to my Apple TV 3rd Generation on 720p 60hz, almost 1/3 of the whole screen is cut off. Changing the aspect ratio doesn't help either and neither does overscan correction. It just seems zoomed in on the top left hand portion of the screen.

Also, I just tried unchecking the Overscan Correction and the display went out for a second, and when it came back the Airplay was using the full screen and not just a tiny 1/4 or 1/3 of the screen. I even checked the Overscan Correction box and it went blank again but came back again using the entire screen. In my case it seemed to be an issue with resetting the system, I would try restarting your computer ultimately.

Getting the same problm I think.

The Airplay works and connects fine, I installed into our office for management to do presentations, issue is.

The Airplay screen is full screen, fine.

Play video from the Ipad to Airplay, Also fine, fills the screen. but when I turn on mirroring, it is only about 2/3 size of the screen, doesnt fill it, this is when I hold the unit in Landscape mode of course, if I turn it to portrait it flips it correctly but does fill the hieght of the screen.

OPne other issue I find is, I have Friends using an Iphone 5 with IOS6 and they can turn on the airplay, but the mirroring option is not available, so he can only present photos or Audio.

A few fixes needed I think.

I tried the options mentioned above, such as Overscan, different resolutions, now set to auto, and no options available in the ipad I can find. so any ideas any one?

Geoff

Sadly no,

You may want to check your projector one last time to see if there are any overscan settings or what not. Chances are though, Apple needs to update their Airplay. It's something newer for Apple so there are inherently kinks in the system, and I feel this issue is largely to do with Apple. But go through all the suggestions again, try restarting and checking for updates.

Good luck,
