Mail 6.0 (Mountain Lion) Graphics Issue

I upgraded to Mountain Lion yesterday and I've noticed that sometimes when I go into Mail, there seems to be a graphics glitch and then goes away. Today, I went to Apple and they told me its most likely a bug they'll have to patch since it's the first version of ML. I have a picture to show you (you can see where it's distorted). It's mostly when I open mail with a message from something that has links. They sent it to the engineers to see what's wrong. My hardware diagnostic came back fine too. Should I be worried? What do you guys think?

I have the same problem with 10.8.3 and Mail 6.3. It only happens on the MacBook Pro Screen but not when I am pluggeg into an external monitor.

Likely a problem with your logic board. If you use gfx and select discrete graphics card the problem will go away.

I'm actually on my 2nd logic board in this computer and 4th overall. Problem has reappeared and going in soon for another logic board. Not sure what the deal is with the early 2011 mbp, but I'm considerably annoyed.

I have this issue too, only started since upgrading to Mountain Lion. It is not a logic board issue as it only occurs in Mail and nowhere else.

Past experience with the folks at the Genius Bar has been to install a new logic board once this problem arises (this has happened twice and now a 3rd time for me) So it's 1 of 2 things.

1. Bad Logic Board

2. Bad Drivers for Integrated Graphics

Either way, the solution is use gfx and use discrete graphics.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
