Try reinstalling.
After reinstalling I've cleared up all my issues; screen flicker, twitter notifications now works, and FaceTime works. I also successfully upgraded my daughter's MacBook on the first go.
I've tried everything but the notifications for the apps aren't working. I'm getting the notifications for my mail just fine but nothing is coming through for any of the apps (Facebook, Twitter, and three news apps). I've got the push notifications turned on inside the Facebook app itself. When each of the other apps were opened for the first time I allowed them to send me notifications. I've added and removed each of them from the Notifications menu in Settings several times. Everything is set up correctly but I haven't been able to get app notifications ever since I upgraded to iOS 6. I've deleted and reinstalled all of the apps and have restored my phone but nothing is working. Any ideas on how to get notifications for apps?
Me too the same thing, I tried everything... for facebok i delete and reinsatelled the application and is working but not for the rest!
have the same problem, Steve should be angry.
That didn't help me.
Twitter problems:
Try removing the option and re-adding it.
Mail problems:
Try removing it from notification center, restarting Mail, restarting the computer, or doing a reinstall of OS X
I do not believe there is a way to remove the notification center icon. I'm sorry if none of my methods work.
