Mountain Lion UI Lag on rMBP !!! (Let's Make this thread serious and hope for a fix)

I personally think the UI lagging bug is a serious issue on rMBP because this machine cost $2000 and up and it lags on UI features such as Mission Control and Space Switching while classic Macbook pros don't. I do understand that the retina display models carries a high resolution display, but I think the quad core CPU should have the ability to handle it (please correct me if I am wrong)

I am hoping and asking anyone experiencing the issue to follow up with this thread and post your concerns. Let's hope for a fix soon and we can really enjoy the beauty a Retina Macbook Pro brings to us.

FWIW, I did the delete windowserver prefs thing and PRAM reset, and it helped at first. I even thought it was gone for a second. Then I opened my usual amount of apps and windows (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Skype, Mail, etc) and now the mission control animation is nonexistant. It's as choppy as before. Also, even RIGHT after the fix with nothing open, iCal and Contacts exhibited the same lag as before when switching months and switching to fullscreen mode respectively. Sorry, but I don't think this is quite the solution yet...

So far I've been a happy camper with my Apple products since 2007. I bought the 15" rMBP a few weeks ago to replace my 27" iMac to be more mobile.

I'm kinda shocked to read that this thread has been going on since July and that the problem is not solved yet. Apple support blamed a third party software and when I follow up to explain the same experience like cybeross have, there's no reply at all.

I wonder if ALL 15" rMBP experince this? Mine is a mid-2012. What about yours?
