mac app store error 103 - trying to update and get this.

That was the one wojowoof. This had been plaguing me for weeks and deleting the apparently corrupt files was the answer.

Dave Lasker reported "Go to "Updates" tab on App Store." but when I got to the App Store, I could not find an "Updates" tab anywhere.

When I attempted to go the Finder route for Update files to delete, I didn't have the files mentioned.

So, for the sixth week, I have no way around the Error 103 problem and I keep getting the reminders to update, which is GALLING!!!

I had the same problem, I solved it by re downloading the software with the latest update, not the update, and when reinstalled it it replaced the old version and the problem was solved.

Seems like this one worked for everyone – exept for me... My problem is it not related to iPhoto and iMovie updates, though, but to an update of HP Printer Software (update 2.14).

I have tried all the suggested steps in this thread exept for the steps suggested by wojowoof, which seems to work for everyone. I wish I could perform these steps, but the problem is that I do not find the folder /Library/Updates/, and therefore I obviously cannot delete the desired files. But I see the "error installing product..." in the install.log file.

Hope that anyone can help me!
