Hello i have tha same problem and its realllyyyy frustrating. im chatting with apple support but i could not be able to find something did you solve your problem? while working with word the spellchecker works fine. how can i add it on pages??

Word has its own spellcheck, you can't use it with any other app.

yes i downloaded them but what do i have to do whith them next? how can i make them work?

If you have .dic and .aff files for turkish, you put them in Library/Spelling. Then select in Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar (or Inspector > Text > Spelling > More if you are using Pages 4 and earlier).

But there is never any guarantee when you have to add such stuff. If you have something that does the job right in Word, best just use Word instead of Pages.

No, but it may not work as well as you want.

Finder > Go > Library

I used the solution of Halil Özgür on August 20, 2014 here, and it seems to have worked for Mac OS X Lion; but the suggestions are almost useless. It's only a checker.

With OS X Yosemite, Apple has provide a built-in Turkish spellcheck. No idea how good it is.
