How do I download and open .rm video files in 2012?

I've run across some .rm (RealMedia) video files I want to download with Firefox 14.0.1 or Safari 5.1.7

Safari downloads them by default, I guess? with Quicktime, then adds .ram after the .rm..

so the file reads: blahblah.rm.ram RealMedia audio...

The files, I know for sure, are video...

Then I get a message that Quicktime can't open them... Is this a 32-bit 64-bit issue or what?

I'm running Lion 10.7.4

My Quicktime "about" reads:

Version 10.1 (501.22)

I have a whole mess of readers and converters in my app folder, but have no idea which one to sick on these files..

Seems video just keeps getting more and more messy.. and now HTML 5.. don't even want to know..

Thanks in advance for help.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), LION
