MBP Kernel Panic-like crash EVERY time after sleep. ("Your computer was restarted because of a problem. Please press a key...")

I am seeing the same thing with a late 2012 MacBook Pro.

Followup: I reset my PRAM and it has gone away.

I am having the same issue and use both air display and bettersnap. I'll try disabling them and seeing if there's an improvement. I've seen at least 2 panics a day since upgrading. Pretty great stuff...

I hope it's not bettersnap, I use that all the time.

I uninstalled my display link drivers and am still seeing the panics. I am using a mid 2011 MBP.

I had the same experience with my 'mid-'09 MBP after upgrading from Lion to ML: it crashed frequently, forgot email passwords, lost network connections, and generally wouldn't wake up from sleep.

I re-installed ML, and now it's running faster and more relably than any OS I've ever had.

this is still happening to me. even with the cmd+option+p+r reboot scenario.

even after a system re-install.

it FEELS like bad RAM, but thats just going off of old windows machine experience.

any clues on this?

I had the exact same problem. I was pleasantly surprised that it was completely alleviated by resetting the PRAM.

Looks like it's an Apple issue. Got this response from DisplayLink technical support:

Same problem here with a late 2011 15". I have better snap and display link installed. I will uninstall display link and see what happens.

10.8.1 is out. According to displaylink, this version should resolve the issue. Has anybody loaded the update and tested the displaylink driver yet?

I just tried the 10.8.1 update and the kernal panic is gone.

Another followup. It is the Bluetooth. If I disconnect all of my bluetooth prior to sleep the panic is gone. if not it still panics.

The 10.8.1 update today seems to fix the problem.
