Getting Safari 6 CSS issues

Could very well be hardware configuration related.

My 2012 11" MacBook Air has the issue.

A Mac Mini, multiple MacBook Pros, and another MacBook Air do not have the issue (all 2011 hardware releases). All running 10.8.2.

Happening to me too on my 2012 13" Macbook Air (Mountain Lion / Safari). Every so slightly annoying for web developers. :/

I've tracked it down to be related to the onboard graphic card.

Safari usually doesn't switch to the discrete one, so the problem also appears on MacBook Pro's.

It's really unacceptable Apple hasn't fixed this yet, considering that Chrome renders the same websites

correctly and uses WebKit as its underlying rendering engine.

Please, someone at Apple, make this problem go away. It's a very disturbing issue for web developers!

I'm having the same issue too (11" MBA). As a designer it's very irratating, pretty much any website using rounded corners or a right border seems to have a problem rendering.

Really hope there is a fix for this soon!

Chiming in to confirm like the others before, that my 2012 MBA 11" (8GB) has the same exact right-side-rounded-corner whackiness. Has to be a Safari bug and it's annoying as heck. Must. Resist. Chrome…

I've got the same rendering problems for 6.0.2 - and also generally unstable browser with crashes/random link corruption - I kid you not, screen redraw freezes, things that require a browser restart to resolve...

Need a better open source Safari so we can fix this, come on Al Gore, help us out!

I've also had this issue on my 2012 MB Air. Really, really annoying.

I've just bought a new Macbook Air 13" and I have the same problem. I'm developing some webpages with bootstrap and it's really annoying. We have 2 new Airs at my home and it happens to both of them, but not to the other older macs. It's incredible such delay to solve this bug.

I switched to Chrome since opening this ticket. But I want to return to Safari, yet after months of the new Macbook's release, and after several updates to Safari and Mac OS, I still have the same strange issue, specialy visible when using the Twitter Bootstrap css. But I also see it on some other sites I use like Zendesk.

No one has replied to this thread since December 9th. Is the problem gone for everyone else? I don't understand how this is not a more pressing issue for Apple.

It's still the case for me, and I'm sure tons others... but I've switched to Chrome since. Disappointing since I've always been a huge Safari fan, and still am now... but that bug really is a dealbreaker for me.

Just to prove that this is not an issue that Twitter or Zendesk should be fixing, here is a screenshot of what I see on the top right of Apple Support page in Safari. In Chrome, the right border of the Actions box is visible.

Still an issue for me as well. Moved to Chrome. I was crossing my fingers with each of the incremental OSX updates.

It's still and issue for me, too. But Apple doesn't really listen to the support forums. So... I've moved to Chrome for now until I know it's fixed. There's no direct way to put pressure on Apple to fix it.

So, we wait until the next OS X update. Maybe they fixed it. Probably not.
