iMessage on iMac not reliably receiving photos

If I remember I most certainly will! Getting old here and the noodle doesn't hold as much sauce as it used to! 🙂

Well I think it stopped workign again last night. So I will have to do my reset. Keep in mind that I have the latest ML update as well.

I did the reset and it made the problem worse. I will try it again.

I have the same problem: iMessages with photos aren't showing up at all on my iMac, but are being happily received on iPad & iPhone. And what's more, if I send a photo using iMessage on the iMac it doesn't seem to send - and after 5 minutes it just vanishes from the iMac's iMessage stream, as if it had never been written! There is clearly something wrong but I can't find any other discussion on this issue.
