Random sleep mode after Mountain Lion install

Hello, I have a MacBook air 11" late 2011.

after installing Mountain Lion I get random sleep modes, usually right after a waking up the computer.

that has never happened before so I assume that it is a sotware issue.

I do not have a hot corner for sleep (have checked)

anybody else has the same problem

Go to system preferences, then Mission Control, at the bottom left corner is a box titled "Hot Corners", click on this to see what is set for the corners. My wife's was set to go to sleep when curser came to any one of the four corners. This could easily explain why the screen went dark while typing various documents. Any contact with the track pad with her hand would be working the curser to a eventual corner.

I'm sure some of you are having a more serious issue, but after seeing this article and being ready to give up, I went back to check my sleep settings and they were set for sleep after a minute or so. I didn't change my machine to such a ridiculous setting (maybe there was a glitch to cause that..), but needless to say, it fixed the problem when I re-set the time it takes for the machine to go to sleep. Definitely start there, even if you have wisely changed these settings in the past.
