Try the flex:player App, then you also don't have to convert your videos; http://itunes.apple.com/app/flex-player/id451024857?alreadyRedirected=1&mt=8

Ok y'all I've been scouring the Internet for ideas on this. I'll quickly give the situation: headed to a ship, no wifi, bought the seagate goflex satellite and acquired some video content. Before I left I converted as many as I could to mp4 but there are numerous good movies that I can't watch. I was trying to simplify so I bought the ipad4 and left the laptop at home. So far I have vlc, oplayer, buzz player, and flex player- working all the angles here because in a day or two I lose wifi access for quite a while. I'm not super talented with this device so could someone pleas explain how I download files and access them by one of these players. Every once in awhile post downloading an avi via seagate media app it will give me the option to open the file in a different media player (I've actually watched a movie this way) but its no at all consistent.

I'd really appreciate your help. GO NAVY!
