There seem to be several Bluetooth issues with Mountain Lion. I have Bluetooth connectivity problems with my magic mouse, best described here:

Maybe these problems are related to each other. We probably have to wait for Apple to fix it...
In this thread:

David suggests restarting in Safe-Mode. (Shut down, press power key, hold down SHIFT immediately after the start up tone until the Apple symbol appears)
I had already tried the suggestions made by Apollo2000 here:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4167078?start=0&tstart=0
With some success.
Restarting in Safe-Mode restored the functionality of the USB hub built into my 30" Appple Display and resolved the Magic Mouse bluetooth connectivity for me. The effect continued over beyond a standard restart.
So:
Safe-Mode boot
then Restart
I hope this helps.
same problem here:
bluetooth mighty mouse worked perfectly before upgrade to mountain lion.
now frequent disconnects with freezing of blued (bluetooth service) in activation panel.
> can't even kill and restart bluetooth.
means complete restart!
I have exactly the same problem.
I really don't know what to do...
