App updates page is blank

Absent any other clues, I'm just going to assume that the download traffic for Mountain Lion is having some ripple effects, and they're throttling back access to other secondary functions while dealing with that. It's something that will usually pass fairly quickly and, to me, just isn't worth a blast on their Feedback links; they already know about it.

You aren't communicating with Apple here...we are only Apple users helping each other. You could contact Apple via support and let them know that way.

If you want to update your app you can update it from your pc....or if you want to download an app you can download it by searching from your appstore if you remember that app

Not sure if this is a coincidence, but I updated and installed each app i needed updated through my macbook pro one app at a time. For example, I updated the twitter app and then installed it to my ipad. Then I updated the Marvel app and installed it. Each time I checked the updates page in the app store to see if it worked. After I updated and installed Infinity Blade 2. After that app the update page started to work. I am wondering if Infinity Blade 2 was such a huge file that it was making the updates page time out. BTW I am running ios 6 beta 3. Not sure if that is what was happening, but I updated and installed that app through my mac it has worked fine since.

so if you are needing to update Infinity Blade 2 or another app that has a huge file size, maybe that is the issue.

This issue appears to have resolved itself on my iPad this afternoon (UK). Suffered it over 48 hours before it was resolved though. I didn't do anything to fix it myself. Suspect something changed on the app store end.

Hope it is fixed for everyone else now too.

It magically fixed for me too. I tried to update in the morning but the gray screen was also there. Just tried a couple minutes ago and could update with no problem. Weird. ITS WORKING NOW ANYWAY.

My purchase page is blank but I can access the app when I search or it. I can download apps and update. Good thing, the apps are still visible in the update page. It.s only the purchase page that is invisible. And the icons of some of the apps (whether downloaded before or recently) are not appearing on the screen. I hope this will be resolved soon.

It's not working for me. It shows 11 in badges but none in the update list. Please help

The following troubleshooting steps have been effective in resolving this issue in most cases. If the following steps do not resolve this issue, I recommend contacting Apple Care (1-800-MYAPPLE {1-800-692-7753}):

1. Close All Apps on iOS Device: tap home button once > double tap home button > hold down on an app until all apps in this bar are jiggling with a red minus sign on them > tap the red minus sign for ALL apps (closing out of all apps currently in a suspended state)

2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out

3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

4. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

I let my ipad completely die and then recharged it. This fixed the blank update screen for me. Prior to that I logged out of apple, logged back in, changed the region, changed the time, and a couple other things I found in the blogs, but ultimately the power kill is what fixed it for me.
