We hve a nework on Win 7 usinf Win 7 software network setup. , Trying to print on network HP 130-nr from our Macbook PRO-RETINA OS 10.8.4 will not get a response when trying to print to the shared HP 130 Printer. " The drop down panelsays, .."printer not responding." The OS 10 on the Macbook Pro 15 inch, after setting up the share says,"Software not loaded." I went to HP-SUPPORT and down-loaded Mac Drivers, FOR THE HP 130 to no avail. The MacPro prints to a wireless Kodak Printer, on the network, fine; it is not wide format which we must have.
I believe the fact that the MACPRO Retina does not load the correct drivers form HP and from our current MACBOOK 13 inch Snow Leopard OS, has to be the problem. The situation is the Macbook Pro-RETINA cannot use any of our Mcabook Pro- 13 inch software is a real bummer. Apple seems to be pushing to have its users to buy all new software for the OS 10.4 and higher. Thoughts?
