Hyperlink trouble
My hyperlinks change color when rolled over in iWeb, but when published to my site they DO NOT change color when rolled over. I am working with iWeb v.3.0.4. Ideas anyone?

For some reason or another "even with the modification" the slideshow does not work in Explorer at least on Windows 8 any how.
hyperlinks are working better i see
Some people had problems with the slideshow thumbs not appearing in IE V 9 but his was due to bad file names and/or optimizing files that shouldn't be optimized.
I don't use the iWeb slideshow and the only time I ever dug into it was when OT and I were working out the modifications last year when it was announced that MobileMe was shutting down.
There's lots of alternatives for those who want to go on using iWeb to the death...

Where's your Visual Light Box?

* set-up is just like WowSlider
I must have over looked it on your page I saw it when I went back.
Galleria is one of the best of the JQuery sliders with many options....

Its now available in a responsive version for mobile sites...
http://mobile.ezmacwebdesign.com/gallery.html
... although it doesn't swipe on desktops like this one...
http://mobile.ezmacwebdesign.com/slider.html
... and the JQuery Mobile pageination...
now on the destinations page is a combination of white, orange and yellow Normal colors... but in iWeb they are all yellow.. hmmm something aint jivving.
I notice from your stylesheet that you are not setting the "normal and "visited" colors the same. This can cause problems.
a.class16 {
color: rgb(255, 233, 78);
}
a.class16:visited {
color: rgb(255, 255, 255);
}
a.class16:hover {
color: rgb(189, 37, 44);
text-decoration: none;
}
Once you have 1 link the way you want it. Clicking the "Use for New Links on Page" button will make all the links the same.
Despite warnings that the death of MobileMe would mess up the slideshow control icons, that doesn't appear to have happened: they appear OK on the site I created for a friend here:

Of course if they are being drawn from the old MobileMe URL it's possible that they may disappear eventually.
I left the example on the iWeb for Musicians site unmodified so that I could see if/when it was effected...

Here's where the arrows and dragger should be...
... and here's the files in the page source in Safari...
Maybe your URLs are different?

Your navigation links are hosted on your own server not "MobileMe's":
I looked at both yours and mine, and the difference is that you are calling for the me.com URL:
www.me.com/1/slideshow/images/arrow_right_on.png (http:// removed to prevent the forum trying to display it)
which of course is not working. Mine is more puzzling: I didn't do any fiddles, just published what was originally a MobileMe site to my GoDaddy webspace -
http://rfwilmut.net/godwin/Astronomy.html
On playing the slideshow the right arrow button image is located at
rfwilmut.net//images/slideshow/images/arrow_right_on.png
and there is an image at that address. Note the double slash before 'images'. The image is apparently called in one of the javascripts with the line
forwardButton=appendImage(controls,baseURL+'images/arrow_right.png','forwardbutt on')
I've looked in the files for the site and can't find this, though there are some other arrow files (canvas_arrow...etc). I can only conclude that it's in there somewhere; but why it works for me and you are still calling for the me.com version I have no idea.

I have the slideshow.html file but I don't see that folder, and I can't make sense of the double slash. I turned 'View invisible files' on and it made no difference. A mystery - but also why Roddy's site isn't working the same way - possibly a different version of iWeb? Mine is 3.0.4
