iWeb Slideshow Modification

It's still looking in the nonexistent '1' folder: you need either to remove the '1' from the script or create the folder and move the images into it (might be easier).

I removed the /1/

Do I need to anything other than just SAVE when I adjust the script???

Should I republish the whole site?? Not sure how to update just that script on the host...would republishing do it??

iWeb won't know the script has been modified because it doesn't expect you to be tampering with it. You will either, as already stated, have to 'publish all', or upload just the script using an FTP program.

Roger...I realize now that was pretty stupid of me not have realized that. I've republished the entire site, but it still isn't working. Wondering now if it could be an internal propagation thing at my Host (iX).

I've been going through all the files with FileZilla and I can't find anywhere. All I have there is my site...found a Scripts folder but it isn't in there?!?

I probably missed an important message, but updating all of this is usesless when you use an iPad, because iWeb 3.0.4 pages do not display on this device.

No navbar and no html snippets.

So it looks Apple finally killed iWeb with its own device.

Wyodor...is this all some kind of nasty joke. Where was all this stuff in the easy instructions.

The file you linked to has www.markdotzler.com/slideshow/images instead of the me.com link.

Try putting just /slideshow/ in place of www.markdotzler.com/slideshow/images, and /slideshow/images/dragger.gif and republish or manually upload that file to the scripts folder of your website.

I just chainged the iWPopUpSlideshow.js file in my copy of iWeb 3.0.4 and published this slideshow, iWeb 3 Slideshow, and find it works as Wyodor said.

First clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload your site to see if that will get it to work. The file you linked

No nasty joke. i made a mistake.

Was making some pages in iWeb which did not display in iPad's Safari.

So verified extensively, but still did not display.

After a while I checked again and they did display.

Nasty joke on me.

Anyway, the stylesheet needs to be edited too.
