G5 Quad PCI-E SCSI cards available

Hello,

Are there any SCSI cards, beside ATTO, which could be used in a Powermac G5 with a pci-e bus. I googled some information about LSI Logic, but the information whether or not some of those cards would work in a dual-core G5 is still not clear to me. I would prefer to buy a used card, and perhaps there are some PC cards for the new PCIE bus that would work too. Thanks for any information you could provide.

best regards,
Markus

Hello:
I needed a SCSI connection between my dual core 2.3 G5 and an Epson 1600 and Polaroid 4000 scanner. The SCSI card problem with PCIexpress is a headache. To bypass high costs of the cards, I tried a Ratoc firewire/ultra scsi converter (FR1SX) and find it works perfectly at joining my SCSI scanners to my G5 firewire. This has been a boon to eliminate PCI express SCSI cards and other problems.
best, nrb
