Aug 5, 2012 5:52 AM in response to RA_Mac_Book_Userby Lexiepex,★Helpfulin another thread following solution was given:
"A very simple solution: make sure the ISO file is not mounted when running the Boot Camp Assistant!"

Aug 5, 2012 7:53 AM in response to RA_Mac_Book_Userby RA_Mac_Book_User,I got it. The solution was to un-mount the ISO file.
You would think that Apple would set up Boot Camp to do that automaticly.

Oct 11, 2012 4:57 AM in response to RA_Mac_Book_Userby Tornros,Make sure that the Windows ISO is unmounted.
To unmount: Open "Disk Utility" and under the drivers in the left sidebar you will see the windows iso. Right click on it and select "Unmount".
If iso file is still there, right click and simply press "Delete".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mar 15, 2013 10:54 PM in response to Martin Spencer Nicholsby FrequencyPictures,Same. I have tried everything - Switching Flashdrives (8G, 16G and 32G), Unmounting the iso file in Disk Utility, ect.
I have a brand new (less than a week old) imac that doesn't have a DVD drive so I can't burn the iso to a dvd and install this way.. Please help, I've been at this for days and am lost.

Sep 30, 2013 5:21 AM in response to RA_Mac_Book_Userby JakobGK,★HelpfulI don't get the error any more. I just plugged in my 8 GB USB drive (Not containing the iso file or anything else, FAT 32 formatted). Checked the first box, installing windows 7 with an iso file. Chosed the path to the iso file, which was not on the USB drive but in my download folder. Even though is says it will format the data on the drive chosen, it formatted my USB and is now copying the windows files to my USB.
Hope this helps.
