Mountain Lion and Mission Control
I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Since then Mission control freezes on a daily basis and will only reset by doing a computer restart. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Like Lawrence, my gestures and mission control has been playing up since yesterday, and if I leave the macbook alone for 10-20 minutes, it will come back to normal.
Hot corners also stop working when the macbook stops working, but I have changed one corner to 'start screen saver' to see if that trick works.
Go to http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/11582/onyx
and download Onyx (free download)
Install and go to Parameters / Dock tab
Click Restore Dock / Restore Defaults
gkanell,
Why should we use Onyx? Is that another temporary workaround, like the "killall dock" command or the screen saver hot corner, or does that permanently resolve the problem?
It's a free ride...take it or leave it...I can't figure out another way to bypass that awfull Apple bug...
Fixed it this morning and felt I'd like to share....you're in this forum for the same reason aren't you?
Sure - but I've had bad experiences with tools like Onyx, so I avoid them if possible. If this fixes the problem, I might give it a try, but if it's just another workaround like the screen saver hot corner or the "killall dock" command, I'll just stick with the screen saver hot corner. Or if all this does is clear out your dock preferences, I might delete the file and still avoid installing Onyx.
The Mac OS 10.8.2 update seems to fix this problem with Mission Control and gestures - or at least I can say it hasn't happened on my machine since I updated two days ago.
So if anyone with this problem hasn't updated yet, I suggest doing that.
I too agree. Since my upgrade to 10.8.2 Mission Control has worked fine.
