Mackeeper 911 for your computer. How true, as what happened on 911 to the twin towers will happen to your Mac's hard drive. If your gonna take a chance & download this virus circus software. Back - up your hard drive. Then if all faills as it will like it has to many others. Least you can completely wipe your system & have the backup ready to reinstall. Also make sure you pay by PayPal. You'll get your money back too.
Best of luck to you
Mackeeper is Malware.
Hoosier will complain if we keeping saying it is "technically" malware. He/she may be right hat it is just "software", so perhaps we meet in the middle and call it "software that is badly written, breaks the OS, causes much grief, abd is designed to not uninstall very easily or completely".
Great, you just found a very large quantity of words to say MacKeeper is malware 😎

But Hoosier will be happier. 😀
My poor, poor fingers are not! And think of the wear and tear on my keyboard...I'll sue if I have the strength to type out the complaint 😟
My brother is a lawyer.
I prefer to call it crapware because they charge you to do what can be done for free and hoses your operating system.

I'm happy it works for you, but there are too many longstanding Apple users like myself who have had bad experiences that when we successfully removed MacKeeper (use appZapper), our issues were over.
Then there is this other thing...https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2786697?answerId=21041516022#21041516022
Even if you got Steve Jobs himself to come back and tell me that I would still recommend that MacKeeper not be install. For one thing nothing it does if and when it working correctly is worth paying for becuase it can be done for free without it. IMHO is is an extremely rare event for that piece of crapware to work correctly.
How much is Zeobit pay you to act as a scab for them?
