Profile Manager and S/MIME

Hi everyone,

we've got an OS X Server here (Lion in production and ML is in the test lab right now) and we actively use Profile Manager to manage our OS X machines and also all iOS devices. We want to use S/MIME for signing and encryption but Profile Manager (v1 and v2) doesn't allow us to activate S/MIME (there's no option for it). For example the Apple Configurator application does have an option for this. Under OS X we could at least perform this configuration step manually but under iOS the pushed mail configurations won't even let us activate S/MIME as it's a managed account.

So how can we use Profile Manager to push Apple Mail configurations with active S/MIME? (and yes, we have the needed certificate)
