If getting something quickly is more important to you than the price, Apple's Thunderbolt Display can be used as a very expensive docking station with a nice monitor thrown in.

As the Apple Store says, "connect it to any Thunderbolt-enabled Mac and it becomes a plug-and-play hub for everything you do. Features include a high-resolution 2560-by-1440 LED-backlit display, a FaceTime HD camera, high-quality audio, three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire 800 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a Thunderbolt port for daisy-chaining additional high-performance devices."

I did it works pretty good considering the price difference. Every once and awhile the targus seems to not want to connect the displays (23" and a 20" on the DVI's),for instance if you use Parallels the docking station doesnt seem to want to work unless you click into the windows and back out.(I tried messing with the USB settings in parallels to not use the docking station still no luck stopping it). but these problems only started happening after I updated the docking station firmware. I think I'll spend the money for a thunderbolt docking station for home but this one was for the office. Hope that helps, I come in and out of the office alot so if you dont have to keep repluging it in then you'll probably be alright
