Do a search for the black Friday ad for best but 2009. I just did and saw my iPod touch, third gen 8gb advertised.

So, you are telling me that the iPod I bought doesn't exist? I have an Apple product 3rd gen iPod. 8 gigs. 2nd gen can not get ios6. I have 6 on my iPod. Therefore the 8 gig 3rd gen iPod does exist.
