iphone thinks headphones are plugged in even when not - how to fix

I know this sounds weird. It works though I put my mouth over it and sucked a Lil bit and I cleaned it first with a cue-tip then I did the other thing and that work for realz idk y

All I did to fix it was left my headphones in my phone on accident but it fixed it the next day

I tried to insert things and dislodge the bad but nothing worked!! Eventually I sucked the jack really hard and it worked instantly!!

This happened to me and I took the end of a q-tip off and pushed the flat end of the q-tip into the jack about 10 times and it started working normally again!

I tried your trick and it worked!! Thank god I just saved $80!!!
