Is it possible to search Mail rules?

I have in excess of 500 Rules defined in Mail, but if I need to modify anything within a Rule that isn't in the Description field, it can be a real pain to find it. The Find command only returns results in messages, and ignore Rules altogether. I fear this is probably something that Apple has overlooked and it's not possible to search Rules, but if anyone has a workaround I'd appreciate their tips.

Solution for Apple OSX 10.8.1 (Lion).

The location of the mailbox rules: ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/MessageRules.plist

Open the file with your favorite editor and search for the item your looking for.

The name of the rules is defined in the XML-tags:

<key>RuleName</key>

<string>Name-of-the-Rule</string>

Be careful not to make changes in this file directly, cause this may damage your rules!!
